The Boston Public Market was bursting with more color than usual one Sunday this month as yarn vendors from around New England gathered for the second annual Boston Farm & Fiber Festival.

The festival, which welcomed over 25 local fiber famers, crafters, and natural dyers, offered vendors the chance to promote and sell their products, but also provided programming such as a women in fiber farming panel and weaving and spinning demonstrations.

The staring attractions, however, were Auggie and Pepper, two 10-month-old sheep all the way from Wing and a Prayer Farm in Vermont. The Shetland and Cotswold sheep drew dozens of spectators at a time, blinking dociley in their pen through countless photos and pats.
